What happens if an invoice cannot be paid?
If a direct debit fails, there is no need to worry. We will automatically retry the debit two more times, giving you the opportunity to complete the payment smoothly.
If the payment is still unsuccessful, you will receive an email with all payment details so you can easily settle the outstanding amount yourself.
If the payment has not been received within 3 working days, your card(s) will be temporarily blocked. This prevents costs from increasing further. You will always be informed via email.
Once the payment is completed, your cards will be reactivated immediately.
Good to know:
If payments fail repeatedly (for example, three chargebacks within a six-month period), we may block your cards. In this case, we will contact you to find a suitable solution and help prevent this in the future.
